Check out some of their videos.... http://bloombrothers.com.au/Just watching how they treat animals pisses me off. Runnin over a cow weather it's their property or not is point blank wrong. Not only that but putting your dogs in a pen with irritated cattle and watching their dogs just about get killed pisses me off. IGNORANCE. They're level of respect for animals and nature in general is very little if not none. Sorry if I sound like a tree hugger but this isn't how I do things. I run cattle on my 400 acreage i live on and people around my neck of the woods would be shot for treating their cattle like that.

Specifically "DVD - 6" demo. However I really do like the vests they have. I have a buddy that had one and it was the closest vest to hog proof I've ever seen.

I totally agree! What in the hell would you profit from ur dog tearing up cattle?! Irresponsible and a bad name for the sport! And pure stupidity for running over a cow purposely!

They are catching wild cattle in that video. In OZ, they don't rope cattle for the most part. They have a very handy technique, shown in that DVD, for knocking down and tying wild cattle with a quad or truck. Nothing at all wrong with it.

Those are wild feral cattle that they are knocking down with jeeps and 4 wheelers. Not sure what they are doing in the pen though (does look dumb). The other cattle would more than likely try to kill you if you shook a sack of cubes at them if you could get close enough to them!!!

I'd like to go live with em for about a month and see all that first hand. Them cattle looked like they'd get in your back pocket QUICK.
One thing you can say about the dogs, they make em tough over there!

From my understanding these cattle are about as rank as mexican fighting bulls the dogs in the pen are training either they have the skill or die and put the peiple in danger. If I remember right you can pay to hunt these cattle and they are considered dangrous. Do some research because your slandering some respected people down there.

I caught wild cattle for a living for quite a few years. Dogs and ropes were my tools. I can say without reservation that the use of the special "bull barrs" and the quads or Utes is far more humane than how I got the job done. They don't "run over the cow". The bull bars stick out quite a bit and have bars angling down back to the quad. The cattle are usually tipped over with the bar, on the run, and then held down by driving the bar up over the hips, cattle get up hind legs first so they are pinned down and can be safely tied. You can't really understand catching cattle like this unless you have been around them. They may run off for a bit but they will come hunting you and they are coming to kill you. You can rope them but you will rope most with their head in your horses tail, back hand shot works well , and better have a fast handy horse. As Rocken Roo said they have no history or culture of roping and no saddle horns and no cur dogs......so the bull bar it is and it seams to work quite well. paul , or anybody else ,can you tell me why they aint never learned to rope down there ?

Hey fella's these cattle are wild from the far north of aus in country that is only accessable 4-5 months a year and never seen a man or horse, but have seen a dog, (dingo) native dog, n will kill them or out run em, rope not real big here as these cattle with charge man n horse and have killed many. Cattle are mustered by chopper in these parts n driven 2 yards 4 live export, wild cattle r then caught with utes n bull bars, ( not ran over) and then tied, or dogged n tied, like the bull dog men of old, or some land owners chopper shoot, not a real good example of how it's done, bloom brother's are not the best example of Aussie hunters n should really keep there home move's at home, cheers from n Aussie pig hunter!

Thanks for clarifying! Do they still use bull dogs and pits or whatever they use to use to hold them ? How did y'all make money doing that? Sell them at sale barns or what?

how can them cattle be any worse than what the settlers found here and gathered out of the thickets and drove to the rail heads in ks or to the fla coast and shipped to cuba ?
i,ve caught lots of bad cattle that couldn't be caught . i,ve bayed cattle that woul fight anything that moves and a couple hrs later were plumb docile .
i'm not saying i could pen any of them cows , but i would sure give it a try .
