Just wondering yalls experiences on getting burned on a dog? Guy changes his number or won't honor an agreement etc! Gotta couple of buddy that's been burned bad!! I'm not mentioning any names but there is a guy that posted in the dog trades section since January first has sold approximately 30 dogs!?! I counted the posts?? If you are a dog peddler feel free to get on here and defend your actions and why you sell so many dogs!! I'm not trying to start a fight just wondering what y'all to experience has been??

I tend not trust ad by people that only have 30 post and 29 of them are dog ads. (Those numbers were just thrown in not a reference to anyone).

I haven't seen many good dogs change hands unless the two people involved were hunting partners or good friends, and most of these transactions didn't involve money. The people I deal with are worried about making better dogs, not making a quick dollar.

Heck, folks get took everyday on all kinds of deals, there's a lot of money to be made as a dog jockey. If you sell a good quality product then go for it. Selling dogs doesn't have to be taboo. Peddlers need to be honest and buyers need to be as smart as their finances dictate. Meaning If you ain't got much money, be stingy about what you blow it on.
Mr Perry has sold horses and dogs for years and years at pretty high prices (to me anyway) but he's got a good reputation and a good product because he's an honest man and if something is a dud, he makes it right.
Thoms and Wright sell alot of dogs and have a devoted and loyal following because alot of their customers value their products.
The list goes on and on, if you want to be a successful dog seller, invest in sucseful dogs and be honest in all your dealings.
All that being said there will be a Starbucks in the Congo before I ever sell another cur dog!! Last time I let one go for 50 bucks, the young fella kept her for a month and sold her $1200 and while I ain't mad at him, I'll never let it happen again.

Some people sell dogs and some people screw people on dog deals.
T-Bob listed some people who sell dogs.
Mr.Perry will be the first person to tell you that he sells abunch of dogs. People want his dogs. If the dog doesnt work out I know he will make it right by personal experence.

I've got lucky... The only dogs I've bought from people on here wen I was starting out was from a few people that I ended up living around me, helped me out, and I hunt with! They were all good people and the dogs were wat they were claimed to be. There still are good people out there you just gotta find them for instance like T- Bob said Mr. Perry sells lots of dogs. Cus people want them. I'd like to think I've never screwed anybody. I've stayed in touch with everyone I've sold a dog to and they keep me up to date on them. I have screwed myself a few times by selling one I shouldn't hav but I'm happy with the pack I have now. And I've only ended up selling dogs to people I know.

If you get burned by a dog peddler you deserved it.....wake up....open your eyes.....smell the roses. The same people would be the type to go to thailand on a date and then complain when ol' lady boy whips out some extra parts.

Bottom line is you should see the dog hunt with your own eyes before spending money on one.......
If someone does sell someone a dog, especially as 'finished' (whatevrer that means nowadays), knowing darn well that it isn't.....well that's just DIRTY, and if it does come to that, the seller should fully refund the buyer. Now on the aspect of someone being a peddler.....to me, it'd be a red flag if I saw someone advertising a high volume of dogs over a short duration of time. That would definately turn me off right off the bat. Nothing wrong with sellin dogs here and there of course, but when someone has a revolving door of dogs, that bothers me.
