Tab kept sending me pictures of 3 caught one day, 5 caught another... So I told him to save a few pigs, I'm headed south. We caught a pair of small sows then few piglets... Managed to grab a couple off the nest then cut the dogs loose. The third sow was bayed 10' from me then broke for 30' and we got a great view of tabs new cd hit like a freight train. Always a good time with those fellas

Hahaha... Quote of the day " the only time in my life that I have sat down and stood up at the same time".

I wasn't getting anywhere with that hog either

Yeah, I hear ya sanman. With every bay i was headed in... First sow, I tried to show them how we do it down home and threw the hog over my shoulders. By the third step I was up to my knees in mud. Second sow I learned a lil bit and walked on the base of the cut grass, until there was none. We looked like 3 stooges sinking in quick sand. After tab legged the hog with a lean reach pull technique lol. I reached for my knife to hand it to a fella and realized I had to dig thru mud to take it off the sheath which was still fastened to my belt... Hence the quote " sitting and standing at the same time"

But like I said, always a good time with them and lots of laughter and good memories... Which were both at my expense lol. I was finally in my element with the third sow being on the only hard ground that area has to offer, but I was ready to shimmy up some small trees cuz she was feisty and 10' from me. Give me my dry, hard ground both me and my mutts like it haha

Our levees are a kiss and a curse! Nice to be on dry ground, but the rozos(sp) are too dang thick, and not a tree in sight, lol. Sure makes for some butt puckering when the bulldogs hit and all heck breaks loose!!! Good times!!
