Mine has a lot of Streaks blood in him too. Supposedly they're champion squirrel dog blood.

The pappers show him to be an original mt cur....alot of streak blood and the banjo stuff went back to kemmer/original mt cur blood...looks by the papers he should do ok.

that's what I was hoping was the grt grnd parents were omcba dogs so that I could dual register him . and then take him into ukc as a mnt. cur  . for ukc to register them as mnt. cur you have to prove they are out of omcba dogs . otherwise they are just registered as treeing curs .

Halfbreed, I can't help much...Smith streak was pretty famous for being a coon and squirrel dog and he was owned by Carl Smith and this man has won many titles with the Streak bloodline (world champion dogs)...the streak dogs are a little on the small size but there are other dogs in that pedigree so that does not mean the pup will be small. Carr's Samantha was out of David Carrs dogs and they were supposed to be good dogs as well...David was from Tennessee and he passed away a couple years back so he wouldn't be of any help to you...but it sounds to me you have a good pup...don't know what it will take to register him in OMCBA or UKC associations...

at one time I wanted to register a few kemmer pups with OMCBA and I could prove the backgrounds to do so...but they wanted me to register all the kemmer dogs to OMCBA before I could duel register the pups...good luck...

if you don't mind post some pics of the pup...and I would like to know about how much he will weigh when grown...there are so many small mt curs with the smaller ears that look like fiest dogs nowadays...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...

yeah Rueben they have a lot of  [ stuff ] to go thru in the regs. but I guess that's a good thang  lol  this dogs is most likely gonna wind up being a smaller framed dog around 35 40 pounds when mature . i'll have to get some recent pics of him tomorrow . but he is a fire cracker of a little dog and gonna be worth the pains to get him papered in all the registrations . I plan on hitting the hunts hard with him next winter and see what we can do  . he's probably around 22 inches at the withers now and I don't think he'll get any taller  .
