Am looking for vest for my 2 cur thay are always on the move so I don't want a vest that's to hot but there Rough as all get out so I don't thank a bay vest will handle the beating what do y'all run ? I been looking at the wild boar vest and can pull the trigger on one any input will help THANKS !

Go hardcorehogdogs you won't be disappointed... Or buy one of each a uglydog and hardcore for each dog, and stick with what you like. I personally trust my dogs life with hardcore till this day good luck bro

Thanks for the help y'all I do have a few more question what style are y'all running a full vest or the bibs ? And what do y'all think about the flaps to cover the front of the legs ?

iv got the hardcore strike vest its holding up purty good so far got a couple cuts through the first layer but thats it not all the way through it.
and fits purty good too.

Here's a pic of my RCD vest I use on my catahoula. She had this pass thru after the first use on a med size boar hog. The material in the middle of the fabric is about 1/2" up from this.  |

I use the DEFENDER BIKINI VEST from ugly dog on my florida cur. I guess it pretty much a strike vest. The vest goes right behind the front legs. I really like the build and tuffness of the vest for a rough dog, mine doesn't fit perfect. Strap furtherst back seems to slide the vest foward and the strap is behind the vest and the legs are pretty hard on the dogs until they build up a tolerance for them. She doesn't mind it at all now though.   |

I have a question for those of you that know .what are halls vest made of and how many layers of it .I have a vest made of 1000 denier cordura one layer of kevlar and the inside is 1000 denier cordura so total of three layers my dog has worn it twice and its been cut threw a few times I would go w 1050 denier cordura if Anyone makes vest out of it its way tuffer as an latter layer than the 1000
