What ever this is I am assuming is what has had my catch dog enemic (I know is not spelled correct) looks like a baby tape worm to me but wouldn't think it would get him down like he had been. He passed this after being on antibiotics for a month and then 12 cc a day for five days of albon. It was alive when he passed it.  |

Yes it looks like a segment of tape worm. Antibiotics do not kill worm. U need to worm that dog. Yes tape worms can kill a dog and the will drain a dog and keep it poor looking.

Get you some fish tapes forte, i ordered it off tr net one pill will handle a 50lbs dog and six came in the bottle for like 20 bucks.

Thanks to all of you for the info. Since he's passed the worm I've give all my dogs, 6cc a day for 3 days in a row of safe guard
and one pill each that's suppose to kill two different types of tape worms and all hook and round worms. So we will see hope that does it.

A lot of things will kill the two types of tapes the third is what prazaqintal is for. |

Will the prazaqintal kill the tape worm or is it used just as a preventative measure? I just noticed a piece of tapeworm in one mf my dog's fecal.
