I don't care either way, but if you're gonna be open, you better be fast moving a track or you'll get culled.
Besides dogs that open some just help save me from looking at my Garmin

My redtick opens on fresh signs and hot tracks. If you hear him there is hogs in the immediate area. I've caught more hogs with him then any silent dog I got. He acts likes slow hound but I ha e had him catch in a pasture before which he ran a 80# sow out of the woods, so he must have some speed:) answer should always be, what catches you hogs!
Exactly, you know they are right behind a hog. If they nip a bit on hot sign usually they always end up finding and baying him up

I was under the impression that the goal is for every dog to be silent on track.....
from me.....who else. tapatalk
Just curious but where did you get that impression? ... barks at bay.... release the CD. barks whenever..... release the shock collar. ... now everybody has a tracking collars. so you know when they're hemmed up from me.....who else. tapatalk
