Picked her up at earls and everyone said "she had white ears she is most likely deaf" is this true or just one of those things old men say? Lol

how much white the dog got . . it' doesn't absolutely mean it will be a deaf pup , but the percentages are high enough I wouldn't have bought it . how old is it ? if it can hear now it should be all right . just get it alone and see if it can hear . and don't mistake feeling vibrations to hearing .

you might get lucky . but like I said just see if it can hear but not by clapping or hollering they can feel the vibration in the air and ground . just get it alone and make sucking noises at a low volume through your lips . I own a deaf cat and she is a wonderful dog to just run loose and keep critters and yotes out of my chickens . she took to working off of hand signals with ease

Have a buddy with double glass eyes all white cat except 2 small patches on the back. Dog hears and hunts great.

sounds like she's out of a merle to merle breeding. Blindness and deafness is just something that comes with that type of breeding and is chance folks takes. Does she have a pink nose? pink in her ears? pink around the eyes. Merle to merle breeding can be done with out having these types of problems. Just something to watch when your buy'n pups.... Good luck with her

I have had a few double glass eye & white with grey patchwork. None of mine were deaf but I have seen some that were deaf.

She has a little color on her face and her ears. Also a little color around her right eye. Just perform some home test to see if she can hear.
When she's sleeping jingle your car keys and see if she responds.

We made it back home with a litter mate to yours.
