Gotti line dogs are usually considered American Bullies. They're usually blue, and heavier built. They are USUALLY UKC or ABKC registered. They cannot be ADBA registered anymore because the ADBA dropped most of those dogs from the stud book due to the dogs being crossed with mastiff blood. Long story.

i know exactly what ya mean, the guy that breeds em in kemp ok has crossed with mastiff along the line somewhere cause there blue pits yea but they stand dang near waist high and close or over 100lbs IMO a pit should be around ur knees somewheres and "maybe" 50-60lbs tops 30s and 40s is more like it though like i said IMO and actually researching the original true American Pit Bull Terrier

The gotti line is mostly known as American bully. There's a website I know of who's dogs have some gotti blood in em. Their dogs are freaks. 150 pounds at under 2 yrs old. I asked about the stamina and the guy said their very active but Idk about that.

I thought the same thing. On instagram he has pics of them going over jumps and stuff. But there's no way I could see them even being a walk in catch dog.

Yeah most of those types of dogs are bred solely for asthetics, and most certainly not function, lol.

The only thing about a true pit is that they are very very very hard to find now.

I have a friend that breeds true APBT from game lines. His dogs are small compared to bullies. The males run around 55 pounds tops and females at 45 tops. Those dudes don't know what quit is. They grab hold and don't turn loose. These dogs are not for me only because I don't know if I'm good enough to handle them. Bully bred dogs seem to me to be much easier handle.

That's cause those of us that have any don't usually let any leave our yards nowadays. The old blood is out there, believe me. We just don't go out of our way to advertise it.

There are still lots of true pits out there. I have done lots of reading and talking to people to find the dogs I have now.  You have to stay on top of true pits.  If you say you cant find any you just havent looked hard enough they are there trust me.

Yes mam. Most are purely for looks.
