It is bad when you can't stand outside this time of night w/o breaking a sweat....

Dexter mentioned in this or another thread about spinklers...we do that some to knock down the dust and cool the dogs down a bit when it is this hot, just put a good soakin on there area.....I hate when something gets them all fired up and hot late in the day this time of year.I am fortunate to have my wife at home all day to make sure no one gets too hot or knocks over any water...the dogs that I know can be destructive or prone to get really wound up I keep two sources of water. I have always fed my grown dogs once a day, pups twice or more depending.  I look foward to and prefer the cooler weather but it is Texas...what ya gonna do  Grin

I put some of those little misters down the middle of my kennels. Have two mister heads per 10 x10 kennel, makes a big differance. Turn them off with a timer at 10pm, start them back a 8 am.

111 here today, I only feed once a day also and use half a 55 gal. barrell for water, its big enough the dogs can get in it and cool off, plus they can't turn it over very easy.  I dump them out and wash them every other day when its hot.
