Anybody have any info or hunted behind any dogs out of Hellums and or Croghan blood?
I am talking to a guy in kansas that has some good coyote dogs. He says they are mostly Running Walker, Croghan and Hellums blood with a little July and Trig.
He hunts them year around and says they have a very high heat tolerance and can run all day! Suppose to run a track super fast..A little tighter mouth but still open on track

back in the early 1990's I was reading about coyote dogs and the pure croghan was a line of dog I was looking at because many were "run to catch" and quite a few caught and killed coyotes before a year of age...never bought one but I considered buying one to add some speed to my mt curs at that time...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

Allen thats what i have coming is a male and female i will let you take the male if you want! I am wanting the female to cross my Tiger dog over if she is what i think she will be.. back in the early 1990's I was reading about coyote dogs and the pure croghan was a line of dog I was looking at because many were "run to catch" and quite a few caught and killed coyotes before a year of age...never bought one but I considered buying one to add some speed to my mt curs at that time...
Rueben the Male dog that these pups will be out of will trail and kill a coyote alone and the females are all super catchy also Not sure how the site feels about pics of dogs caught out on coyotes but i have a few pics of the dogs?

keep me in mind when you get that pup...I was thinking about a touch of walker or plott...but a fast track dog that runs to catch coyotes...

Yes I've really been looking into doing a cross with the croghans...they are rough and tight mouthed. There's a lady in missouri that has some good linebred ones I'd like to get when I make some time for it.

He hasnt even bred them yet gonna breed his best male to two different gyps on there next heat..he mainly breeds just for himself but he is really good friends with a good friend of mine who is related to the Londerholmes here in town! My buddy shares his stag blood with him so he is gonna let me buy a couple pups off of him. The guy has had this line of dogs for over 20 years now
