A while back a guy was looking for the very best stud dog he could find because he had a dog he wanted to breed. I was excited and was going to offer my dog for free. He demaded that he see him hunt. So I say sure, anytime. Well he has no land to hunt on and no money to buy gas to come hunt at any of my spots... Why exactly is it that he needs hog dogs again?  A different situation... Guy wants the same thing. I offer my dog. Make plans to hunt, then he finds out my dog doesn't have papers or a "kennel name" or a website. Deal off. In the mean time I'm steadily catching hogs.  |

sounds like people wanting to sell pups , hence needing the name . but if I have a registered dog that I know the history on and was considering breeding I would want the history on the stud as well . who's to know what is in the minds of others . me I blow that stuff off and never give it a second thought .

watch out}{ dont show people where u live they could poison a dog or set u up an a day later call the spca or cops on u an buy your dogs for cheaper !!!! they do this stay away from flaky a** people that cant buy papered dogs or buy any dogs that work ....

I dont support studding my dog to a person that I dont know , just like I would not give one of my males on a trial. About two years ago, I sold a dog on a one week trail (7 days). On the 7th day, they guy brough my dog back. I found out later that the only reason he purchased the dog was to breed a female he had. Goes along the same lines as wht you are talking about. A friend of mine or someone I know can use any of my males if I approve of the gyp.

I would never allow my dog to leave my kennel without me. I wouldn't mind someone seeing him hunt but I would be there.

Is that a invite on a hunt? J/k, I saw some of your YouTube videos of your hunts and those are some good looking dogs. I wish I could have some dogs like yours. |

Not sure if your talkin about me but I did post on here a while back looking for the best stud dog and I specifically stated MUST BE WITH IN 3 HOURS FROM PARIS TEXAS!! You live 5 hours from me! And I dont have th money to drive 5 hours away very many times.. sorry I aint rich! But I tell you what I will do.. lets make a deal where if your dog isn't what you say it is you pay my gas.. that work for you? And for the ones talking about selling the pups.. my plans are to keep 2 and give the rest away to people that I know hunt alot

Also one other thing if that was me your talkin about.. I dont recall sayin I dont have land to hunt. I have land to hunt and if you'd like to show your dog bring your fourwheeler and dog and come on

One more thing.. you drive 5 hours to hunt with me I guarantee you we'll catch hogs! Not public land that you offered me that gets hunted alot that there may or may not be hogs.

Lol absolutely! I'm gonna feel bad if this was not directed at me! I believe since I stated within 3 hours of my house that it kinda sounds like I have my limits and I know em! Why go posting somethin lookin for a dog that's out of my range? That's why I put the things the dog MUST have! Your title was definitely correct though.. some people confuse me and irritate the sh$t out of me when they dont read the whole post!

I will def agree with those that dont read entire post, especially when it says FIRM, but yet they still tryn jew ya down or cant read, wont read or just dont hav curtousy to NOT call/txt some1 at a decent hr at nite.

Yep! Several years ago I put two pups for sale for $75 and had a couple people called from Florida or Georgia wanting me to fly them to em! I said sure if you buy the plane ticket and pay me to drive em to the airport.. for some reason they didnt wanna do that.. People definitely confuse me

No, I wasn't talking about you but why would you want to see a dog hunt where there are tons of hogs? I want to see one find hogs where other dogs can't. If you've got plenty of hogs you may not need the best huntin dog. I've driven 12 hours one way to look at a dog. Be prepared to make the investment if you really want to get serious about something.
