You know the frame part on box trucks? The rounded stuff like they use on U-Haul tuck boxes and trailers. I want to get some but I have no idea what it is called. I have been Googling it. I have found the parts to a box truck but they just call it by the part of the truck. I want to make a box with rounded edges and corners so it won't hurt as bad when I hit it. I want either aluminum or even plasic then I will cut some plastic or aluminum sheets to rivet in place for the sides for a light weight box. I know it is not called rounded angle aluminum. That is just angle with round on the edges.

Think I know what your talking bout...I overhualed a similar trailer before and it was just flat stock sheet metal shaped into curve. I shaped it in roller then riveted it on .

I am making a smaller box to put gear in. I just can't get one the exact size I need. So I thought about cutting some aluminum tubing. But I bet someone makes it.

If I'm correct it is probably just angle aluminum that's been rolled, we have some angle iron at work that we had done that way. Should be able to get in touch with a local fab shop and find somewhere to have it rolled

I think C channel has two 90 degree angles. I guess I will have to call a shop on Monday.
