Talk with Tom....tnhillbilly on here. He has a heck of a line of Plotts. You can take whatever he tells you to the bank, not a more honest guy on here,.....and he's my friend as well...... Grin

You may want to further define good.  I have 6 plotts that I really like.  Mine are not as rough as some, but I dont want them too rough.  What is good to one may not be as good for someone else.  Try describing the ideal plott and I can let you know who to call.

I'm not looking for a finished dog. I'm looking for a pup that is from a proven hog hunting line of Plotts.

I might raise a litter this year, but I usually dont sell too many, plus you'd have to pay to have it shipped and im all the way up in northeast Tn.
Mike has been raising pups for a long time. I dont know if he has any pups for sale tho. Real nice guy.
There are more down that way that has good lines of plotts, I just cant think of them right off.

Look at White Deer Kennel and Dr John Burkett.  He has some very good dogs and breeds year round.  I've two of his dogs and they are boing doing well.  I know of others that have his dogs that like them also.  Look at Big Game Houndsman or UKC.  There are two dogs registered plotts from Mike Cauley stuff on baydog.com right now for sale.  Ive hunted with both parents and they are nice dogs.

Tnhillbilly I don't mind making a road trip to pickup a pup!! When do you think you will have some pups on the ground? I will be in Illinois about the 2nd week of November deer hunting.

I think that is Joe Burkett not John. He knows more about hounds and breeding dogs than most. He has so many you need to get them at 6 or 8 weeks or they might be a little wild.

I've got some Sizzlin' Heat Plotts and they are incredible! It'll be a few months before mine comes in heat again but I plan on breeding her again. Last two litters were awesome. They were half Parker though.
