They are just a little lighter in strength think they are a 6 layer in chest and a 4 layer else where. If I remember corectly p&p is 6 layer on bay vest and 8 or 9 layer on catch vest. I talked to them at earls and was not impressed but I like more than just cadora on my dogs

P&p are 3 layers in bay vest and 5 in catch vest. 4r cut vest is one of the best on market I have cought over 200 head with mine in last 3 months and have not had a pass thru yet.

The p&p is also made of cordura and you can order whatever number of layers you want. The 4R bay vest as well as the catch vest can be ordered with as many layers you think you might need that's the deal with these guys they build custom vest to suit you and your needs. I run them and couldn't be happier, the 4R guys are good to deal with and when I need more vest I will call them again.

Lets see some pics of your dogs in the vest an the hogs ,I like p an p but have noticed the 4r vest look pretty good , but have hard time switching when p an p has been proven for some time now

P&P and 4R are basically built the same ... I've seen Monty try and stab threw his and I've dont the same to my P&P vest and it didn't go threw that's why I ordered with them like I said I love their vest, only reason I went with 4R was cause I didn't want to wait so long...

p&p has a 6 layers bay vest with vent holes it's a really good all around vest.. hard core makes a good short bay vest after more layers are add.
