Whats better.

You know I hear all the time and see it to. That this breed of cur is better than this breed of cur are that cur is the best breed to have, be it Catahula, Bmc, Leopard Cur , Lacy , Fla Cur, Mt Cur just any of the cur lines . I have hunted with just about every one of these breeds of dogs and I have almost come to the conclusion there is not much traits and chartristics that seperates any of these breeds . They all have long range dogs they all have short and med range dogs they all have there back off bay dogs they all have their gritty in your face dogs and they all have your bring it dont sing it type of dogs that will catch a pig on the spot . Some have great noses some have so so noses and some cant find a bisket . They all have their great dogs , they all have their so so dogs and they all have their culls. They all really hunt about the same in one way are another when bred right and cull properly .

I think what seperates these cur lines of dogs is not the breed of dogs are the dogs themselves because they seem to be all pretty equal when bred great and right . I think the men that are breeding these dogs is what seperates them the no nonsence men that want real hunting dogs and breed and cull properly . I think there is great dogs in every one of these breeds of dogs and I also think if gotton from the right man there is not really two cents worth of difference in any of them other than the men that breed them them selves .

Its just about the same way with the cross bred cur dogs with hound like I like to breed. You get them from the right man and the man that is breeding them for performace and dont give a chit about all the other things you can get a great crossed dog that could be any combanation of crosses . The difference is the men that are breeding these dogs cur are cur hound crosses . Just me man .
