Need to know if others have had dogs do this. My brother has a ybmc male that is hog crazy and has found hogs before but he is the best help dog, because if he isn't convinced that the dogs are bayed he isn't running to the bay/barking on track. My brother is needing some extra money right now so I think I'm gunna jump on the opertunity. He is a short range dog but gritty as they come.

Another thing is have y'all had dogs that can tell the difference in the lead dogs barks? My young dogs can tell when my hound is just on a hot track or when he is bayed. I can tell most of the time but the dogs can tell much better then me. Guess it just them communicating or just knowing what he's saying.

I can tell the difference between a running bark and a bay. Stands to reason they can also. Not to mention they actually speak the same language.
