my young hog dog pack are showing some promise...but they ran some deer a couple times...so I introduced them to my deer mount with a dash of deer scent on a rolled up white paper towel that I tacked on to the mount...
and some electoral theropy...
last week I just tapped em a little and yesterday when they smelled the deer they were pretty nervous...got the alpha dogs attention in each kennel and a little on the other dogs...they were looking for a way out...I let them out in the yard and they sure dodged the charging deer mount and gave him lots of room...I don't think they will be running any more deer...
been using the same bottle of deer scent going on 20 years and it is still half full...
