We've been blessed with lots of good young red dogs lately. Hopefully these two will bring us a new flock of crows

Jett is almost two, built confirmation wise as nice as you can ask for. Cold nose, nearly silent, rough, lots of hunt. Will finish hogs daily by hisself. This will be our first litter from him. Extremely tight bred as he is an accidental breeding of a son back to the mother. Jett's Father is goose ( which was an uncle x niece) and dam is Girlfriend.

Lexi is 2.5 and stepped her game up considerably this year. Will flat roll off all day hog after hog, bays hogs by herself, loose, a touch mouthy on track, works the back end of a hog, cold nose and can straight fly.

Lots of brain in both. Lexi is getting good at back trailing the first caught hog and finding more. Can't wait for this litter. I'll be keeping a handful, that's for sure

Jett

5 of the last litter were red, so I don't doubt that one bit.. My guess is mostly black, two greys and two reds

Bob these are the same dogs. Just old stock cur dogs, the black dogs started way back in the 60's.  Alot of the ancestors to these dogs are all coal black. Litters vary from red, blue and black. Only ever see brindle and yellow dogs when there is an outcross from the main blood

Good luck with them Tony......From my experience black on black usually = black.  But you never know...... I was hoping for brindle and reds.....I got 4 blacks and two brindles out of a blackntan/brindle cross.

Waylon

That's nice! Waylon hunts essentially the same blood, just a different branch of the tree and he has more brindles, black and black &tans the us. You should have some good pups with that litter if its the cross I think it is
