taylor called an asked if I could come help remove some hogs, well I said yes . me an mike were meeting up with the lambert boys later that day on the red river. well we pull in to the ranch and decide to go were the hogs were hitting a feeder pretty hard and we dropped the box. lacy,jade go to the south,my tater dog goes north,mikes dogs go east , tater opens up then lacy well they get together an bayed up.as we were getting the cd out, mikes grit an homer dog cut across to them they came bayed 100 yrds from us, so we send rimmy an spanky, the cd hit an we hear a grunt, as mike an I get there mike says big hog. as I roll a round the briarers I thought we caught a yearling calf. well we all drag him out flip an ty, my 55 lb cd was on top of this barr hanging off a ear . some were in all this my tater dog gets a 1 inch hole blowed in his right side, all the dogs roll an as we were dragging barr out we had 2 bays going on an little pigs squealing. great day 4 hogs caught in3 1/2 hrs. it got hot and we called it a day . thanks taylor for the invite.

Hell yea, caught him five feet out of his bed, only poked one dog, and was squealin like a girl. Not very often I get to catch one that doesn't run like a deer.

No scale, can't bring myself to take 30c/lbs on him. Put him in the pen with a domestic hog that the Mexicans said weighed 460 something a month ago, and he ain't much smaller than him. Maybe 30-40 lbs, they are the same height and size, domestic hog just has bigger hams.
