I have 5 4 and 1/2 month old pups good looking hoggers.
First time in woods got on 9 hogs with no older or trained dog to lead
They had never seen a hog before.
I took a towel to a friends house and let his hogs mouth the towel never letting it touch the ground just the hogs
I brought it home and let the pups play and smell it.
Then we went out back of my house in creek bottom for a walk playing with towel.
They found hog scent almost imeadatly whineing and sniffing the ground and air
Then took off liike a rocket into the brush and thicket
well what do you know they found a hog .All were silent on track and bayed like hell when they found the hog.

I did not expect much from untrained pups that had never seen a hog before,
