Awesome genetics here. Dog has had little to no previous work. Just doing what comes naturally. I put some pretty good pressure on this young dog considering it was only a second session. Hope you enjoy watching.

Good lookin pup for sure. I started my working dog life with schutzhund dogs. Last dog I had was a Stormfront Brawnson grand pup and had crazy natural drive from the day that I got him. Like with the pup in the video, it took little to no training with him., he had it in him. I handled him long enough to get his BH, then I went on my first hog dog hunt. My love for the outdoors and the oppurtunity to combine that with working dogs took over. Also I didn't really care for the politics and snootyism(is that a word) that existed in the SCH circles. Dog got sold and I started my quest to build a solid hog dog pack. Last I talked to the owner, dog got his SCH1, but I ain't talked to him in a while to see what else he has done.

I really regret getting rid of that dog, but think that someone else could do him justice. Don't think he would have made a true PPD, but so help me if I started wrestling around with my wife, he would let his displeasure be known and I'd have some good marks on my arms to show for it. Other than that he was the most gentle 75lb lap dog you could ask for.

Thanksmformsharojg the video !!

I have always wondered what a well bred German Shepard dog or Doberman Pinscher would do as hog dogs...I am talking about working dog stock...I raised Dobermans at one time and I sure did like them...

I have seen a Rottweiler that took to hunting and catching pigs like a duck takes to water...

good video...thanks for sharing...

Thanks for the comments. Hey Underdog, I think I have talked Roger into selling him to me. He is not registered, Do you know anything about single registry through the UKC?
