Have a couple like this I wouldnt say agressive just grumpy. I just know it and remind them whos boss ocasionally when they get out of line.  I have not had good luck with denutting well have had limited success I should say.  If they go looking for a fight I will cull if they only do it when pestered or bowed up to I can live with.

A swift unforgiving hand will get the point across 99% of the time.

Had a gyp that was like that, would jump on a another gyp if she came close enough. A guy who bought her put her n another gyp with the same issue, in a dog box together. When they went to fighten, hit took cattle prods n lit both their a$$es up till they didnt hav any fight left in them. Took a couple doses but fixed the issue in less than a wk

How do fix a dog that has this issue and is smart enough to know that your standing there with cattle prod in hand?

Well this may seem harsh to some but if that is the case and the dog just won't stop than cull it and move on........if it is fightin that dang much in the first place and it can't be that good a hunting dog...........if it were it wouldn't have time to fight all the time lol

I agree with justin, cull it. I culled a good fm that was comin along fast but she jumped on another fm 3x in 2 days. Good bit of time n money for a dirt nap, but i wont put up with that crap in my yard.

I won't own a grouchy dog long either if I can't break it ! I will say that brindle dog Keiths trying  will roll hard but I don't think he'll do good around other males . Josh it's a Plott X Cur he got from a buddy of mine

Kinda not worth having if you can't hunt him with other dogs. I had a female the same way. Was going to be a good one.  (WAS). Could never take her hunting because all she wanted to do is fight my lead female.  This dog WAS whipping bulldogs too. She Started whipping males and females.  As much as it hurt me.... Down she went.  I had to.  She was finding hogs at7 months, but got to where she was whipping everything in the yard.  My other dogs wouldn't hunt around her.
