Pup out of my female got bred in her first heat complete accident. She just turned 11months and is about a month from due date. I've got her and one of my foundation females due within a couple days off each other, so both puppy kennels will be full. I know stress is a key factor. What are y'all's experiences, good or bad? Never had this one happen in my yard. Been lucky I guess.

Pups will be 1/2english pointer 1/4bluwtick, rest Bmc/cat/dogo. Could be some some go getters.

I guess what I'm asking for any tips to help her through labor if she starts to show trouble. Someone said milk will help her go into contraction if there starts to be a large timespan in between pups.

Ask Lacyman about what happened when my bmc gyp accidentally got bred during her first heat! She was the same age as the one you are talking about, no issues other than taking a very well started gyp out of the hunting game for dang near 3 months due to pregnancy. I know complications can arise but i guess we got lucky. Hope you do the same!

She won't have any trouble. The accidents never have trouble. Shell probably have 13 of them and you could stick them Ina camouflaged box on the highway in rush hour and not a one of them would get hurt.

Now, you wait for years to prove a bitch and do a bad to the bone breeding on the other hand... Lol
Just the way it goes more oft then not.

My gyp was bred the same way and nearly the same age, she had 6, all 6 r alive n well. Other than her aggressiveness towards a couple earlier, aint issues n she aint aggressive anymore, so  she is doin even better

I'm sure your dog is bigger than the one I'm gonna tell you about but I had a couple of JRT's a long time ago and I bred them my females first heat her mussels hadn't fully developed and she couldn't push the puppies out. I knew when she was due and let her go three days over her due date. I finally took her to the vet and he did a c section soon as I showed up she had 9 puppies in her 3 were already dead but she raised six healthy puppies. She had so many puppies in her and undeveloped mussels is what caused this is what the vet told me   So pay attention to her due date and if she starts having green slim looking stuff coming out of her puppy dispenser take her to the vet ASAP

Well y'all were right the youngin had 6 healthy pups and my foundation female had ten, however she had them on day 71 after ripping out of the whelping kennel and having them in my males doghouse(only dog on a chain in my yard) she then got rid of the two runts and three more. A week later and the remaining 5 are far and healthy. Now for looks, the Bmc came out looking good, the cross pups took some interesting traits.

She is the runt out of the first female I ever owned. She is 1/2bmc 1/4 cat 1/4dogo and the sire was my buddies reg bluetick. Came out looking like your typical Black and Tan hound/cur cross

My male is a solid black English pointer.

The pups

Buddy has a bmc out of the same litter as mine. English pointer bird dog got to her in her first heat and she only had 2 pups. She did just fine but she only had two.

And she's for sale if anybody wants her! (The pup that is)

These will all be FREE to anyone that I can trust to feed them as this is not a proven cross. Should be gamey. And have a good nose. Keeping one male. Rest will need new homes in 5weeks
