Is it cutting off and on?. Mines having that problem it'll turn off and then start back up when it pleases. But I have noticed when I really get on the gas and get the rpms up it seems to like charge itself and turn on?

Ours started acting up about a year ago. Sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldnt. I seemed like the hotter it was outside, the more it would cut out on us. Well it fi ally quit on us completely. We took it to the shop and had everything replaced for.$1600. But the mechanic told us that the cluch fan had gone out and eventually burned up the compressor. If we would have known it was the cluch fan going out sooner, we could have saved a lot of money.

Always check the freon pressure first. There are all kinds of sensors that do crazy things when the level drops down. It does not sound like that is the problem but it is a free thing to check.

Have u put some gauges on it yet? If at anytime recently you have added freon it may be over charged a little. When the system heats up the freon expands and the next thing you know it is blocked and building very high high side pressures. I had one last week pegging 500 on the high side gauge. When it was cooler 75-85 the system ran fine but 90-95 it would block off from liquid freon trying to pas where it should be gas due to over charge. I let a few ounces out and it has been ice cold since. If you havent added freon since the system was working fine last summer all of the above is not for you... sounds like a clogged orfice or a bad compressor Just a thought

dang I got the message.... yes gauges are all good to go uh I think it's the orifice. check out some dodge forum and apparently it's a common problem. my mechanic wanted to replace the whole system new compressor in all. but for a $25 dealer part in 3 cans of freon I think I'm trying to myself.

My 08 is doing the same thing at low rpm's, told it was the lil clutch fan off to the side. Like Ms. djhogdogger said, itll end up costing you a big bucks if it aint fixed quick. That's probably going to be my weekend project, woopeee
