I have a gyp about 1 1/2 years old that lost abit of weight but I wasn't to worried about it as I had been hunting her hard an figured it was from that, but after a week off she hasn't put any weight on an she is still eating an she is acting lethargic an stiff. I am taking her to the vet tomorrow as we live a long way form town an it's the weekend now she will have to wait till then. Just wondering if I can do anything for her now? All I can think of is maybe she took a hard hit from a pig or she has got into some weak poison. Had a bad of dog food that's had some mouldy dog nuts in it she may have got into too.
Any import appreciated

Maybe a tick-borne disease... ehrlichia or lyme disease?

Possibly brucellosis?

Or poison like you said... I've seen all the above and they acted you described.
