Docked tail?

Why do people always ask if a dog is a natural bob tail or if they were cut ? I love a bobtail dog. I don't care if its natural or cut. Do they ask because they want to breed and get bobtails? Or is there another reason

Some breeds have ole tales about better dogs being naturally bobbed and dew clawed.

I prefer that all my pups be born with long tails and then I bob them at 3-7 days...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
A hunting dog is born not made...
