Saw the thread on putting weight on a dog once before with a recipe for a "silk ball" I think it was called. Punched it into search but nothing. Anyone remember the thread?
My Jasper dog has finally turned the corner on the coccidiosis and is eating but he's been off his feed for nearly a week. Lookin real rough. He's eating very sparingly and not eating dry at all...just canned right now. ill get him back on dry once i get him back to normal. I'm sure he'll be back to normal soon but id like to get as much quality protein/fat into him as possible with the little he does eat right now.

Never tried satin balls but two scoops of multi mama(milk replacer) on top of the food. Add water and shake till it looks like a bowl of cereal. Used it for nursing and sick dogs with good results. Dogs love the taste and its way more protein and fat then wet food. Good luck!
