I worm my dogs monthly with panacure and by monthly with ivomec. all my dogs are thin as rails even though I feed them the recomended amount of dog food. I have been feeding them twice the recomended amount and they seem to be getting worse faster. I guess I'll have to take them to the vet. I've also been feeding the sport mix black bag and i tried using victor and hunter special. One of them constantly has goo around his eyes. any Ideas? I've been feeding them a raw egg in their feed as well for a couple weeks.

Change your drench. I use Equimex horse paste as my rotation. Work out the active ingredient and dose at the correct rate though....make it the same mg per kg rate as a drontal tablet...it varies you'll need to get it right otherwise it'll poison them..

Get you some triple wormer pills. Fairly cheap made by durvet or a couple others but sounds like you got some tapes the pills will knock out any intestinal worms and is only like 3 per pill and it gets tapes and all

Panacur is what I meant just to lazy to see how to spell it right.every vet i've been to told me it would kill tapes. there terds look perfectly healthy and they dont have flees.I give ivomec every other month and the panacur every month.I let them slide in the winter for a couple months sometimes and then hit them with a three day dose.

I've been told you have to hit them 3 days in a row with the panacur to get the tapes

Sounds like tapes, I always worm 3days in a row. tapeworm are tuff and built up a tolerance quick. I would switch wormer and hit for three days if I were you. Good luck!

everyone has a 900 different ways they worm their dogs. the products, the doses, the schedule.... I wish there was one way set in stone on exactly how your supposed to do it. I have been trying to trial and error keeping my dogs healthyfor a long time. I wish there was a magical bean you gave once a year that took care of everything.
