But I figured this forum gets the most views. I received this e-mail at work today and thought I'd see if anyone would like to donate. I'd be glad to ensure donations get to the right place as I'm there M-F from 0745-1715.

Subject: Support Military Working Dogs in Afghanistan -- **Strictly
Voluntary** (UNCLASSIFIED)

Classification: UNCLASSIFIED

Caveats: NONE

Good morning and Happy Friday!  I volunteer at the Warrior and Family Support Center here at Ft.
Sam.  In an effort to "pay it forward" the WFSC will be accepting items
for the military working dogs in Kandahar, Afghanistan, from 1-15 August
2009.  Your donations will be promptly shipped on 16 August; therefore,
we cannot accept anything after the 15th.  Due to the special diet
restrictions for the dogs, only certain food/snack items can be
accepted.  Please see the list below and/or the attached flyer for more
information on these specific items.  If you or someone you know would
like to contribute please do so.  If you cannot make it to the WFSC,
feel free to drop your donated items off to me at Bldg 1374, Room 120.
This is *strictly voluntary*.

Items needed:

Large Eukanuba or Science Diet Dog Treats

Large Black Kongs

Large Red Ball Kongs

Dental Bones

Large Nylon Collars  (The collars will actually be used for the working
goats that are responsible for keeping the ammo field mowed and thus
less of a fire hazard)

Thanks for your support!

And a link to the flyer

If anyone would like to donate any items let me know.
