Alright y'all when I give it gas it takes a lil bit and then grabs put it in 4WD and the front is doing fine you can actually shoot it the gas and they spin about half a turn before the rear starts what is causing this thanks in advance

is the prowler belt driven? I don't know much about the prowler compared to a rhino or ranger but to me it sounds like a belt is slipping.

Ya it is belt drive but that is what turns the front to right ? It just takes a lil but before the rear engages I was thinking maybe clutch weights but don't understand why the front has no hesitation

Check your rear prop shaft and and another good possibility it could be the backlash in your ring & pinion a Lil loose

If it was belt or clutch weights the front would pull just like the rear.

It could be your spike load dampner it is pretty much a clutch that sits in the front/nose cone of your rear diff it is there when too much torque is applied to the diff it starts to slip its purpose is to prevent parts from breaking. Problem is when it's in 4X4 and it slips it sends the torque up  to the front driveline which can cause it to break. Once it starts slipping it will only get worse until you replace it or weld it.

Ya it is getting worse for sure used to only tell when in low and reverse now high is doing the same it will snap your neck back when it catches sounds like the Lincoln would be the way to go on that

Yep you can replace it but you will be doing it all over again in a matter of time but remember it will send all the power through the drive chain soooooo keep that in mind!!!! Shocked
