How hard is it to get them out of the cuffs? Are they crippled afterwards?

Set the duke dogproof for the garbage thief last night and I sure was surprised how good they work. Double foot catch

What makes em dog proof? also do you put bait in em ?

a catch pole and someone to hold the coon. I thought about buying some to work puppys with but i want to be able to get the coon out and let it run then let my pups trail it.

It does not cripple them just holds them. I set it off on my finger by accident it hurt but didn't break it or anything lol. Just sprinkle dog food or whatever around them then I fill the trap up halfway with dog food. It goes down under the trigger and coons are curious so they will pull the trigger. A dogs foot is too big to go in it and even if he got it in there it wouldn't go off because the trigger has to be pulled. Coons have functional hands so they are really the only thing that your gonna catch in them. All you gotta do is hold them down with a stick and slip it off, comes off real easy. Catch pole would work the best. I used a dip net the other day lol
