did you boys and girls know that lowes gave a 10% discounts to vet's ? I didn't till today , I was checking out and the girl noticed my V A hospital id card in my wallet and asked me if I wanted my v a discount and of course I said hell yeah . all the money I have spent up there I wish I had known sooner . lol . just thought some might be as ignorant as me about it .

Home depot does it too. The lady saw my usaa debit card n she ask me the same thing bout wantin my discount. Now if i spend enuf to eat the tax up, ill show my va card

Halfbreed, after looking at the below website, you may get mad. There are a lot of places that give veteran discounts including AT&T. Who is your cell service with? http://militarybenefits.info/military-discounts/Some of the big ones are AT&T Bass Pro Some Burger Kings and BW3 Chik Fil A Dairy Queen The list goes on and on. You could have probably saved a lot |

I just checked online and seen a lot of hotels also give 10% discounts for TWIC cards.
I combine that with my AARP card and get another 10% off.

Transportation workers identification credentials Have to have it to work offshore now days and i am sure for a lot of other things as well. Maybe for all maritime work |

Transportation Worker Identification Credentials = basically an FBI background check required of all workers that have to work or enter any and all ports and offshore rig facilities. Part of the post 9-11 homeland security thing. |

Wher you find this info at? Some forum where guys were talking about TWIC discounts. Just google TWIC card hotel discounts . Some guys said the card would fall under the government workers discount at some hotel chains. I got a lil excited for nothing. My damn TWIC card been expired for a year. Oh well, still get my AARP discount. |
