If you have 14 gyps bred at the same time....your a puppy peddler.

Not to start an arguement but i gotta agree with the above.  The guys i know that have old blood and use them regular wont breed a gyp unless THEY need a few new pups, for no other reason than they make their livin off their dogs and dont want them layed up for anyone other than them.  I couldnt fathom breedin all my dogs at the same time, What on gods green earth could anyone want with all them pups at one time except to try and make a buck off them?

The Mears dogs were Ben bred Bmc. There was one dog TLS Delight that was a Florida dog that was bred at the Adams ranch. She got papers Hung on her and she was bred as a bmc. If you look at the papers far back enough there is no record after her.

I call b.s. taz! 300 hogs a month is 10 hogs everynight for a month....sorry bud not happening! If you believe that I had dinner with Sasquatch last night.

Lynel, It's possible depending on where you're hunting!

I had some buddies that hunted Larson dairy in between okeechobee and fort pierce, in FOUR hunts they caught over 500 hogs. I saw the stock trailers filled slap full of em!

And when I worked for Lykes Bros. there was days I would see 200-300 hogs when we were working in Lakeport. There are definitely places to go where it can be done.

Heres a few pups I've got, no big names on the breeding, just a solid line of dogs from a group of day workers around indiantown and okeechobee.

The daddy to the pups

This is a dog I used to have, came from crackerc

John, I hunted larsons dairy three times about ten years ago. We did good but not 500 good.  There was a lot of hogs there on some hunts others not do much. Shooting, trapping, and dog catching 500 a month I could see. Catching and tieing. A different story.

I don't know if I have enough mule tape to tie 100 hogs at one time! Afro

Okeechobee is filled with hogs. My friend have permission to a ranch out there & they use to get trailer fulls of hogs. All different sizes. We have permission to a few ranches out there and we do pretty well. Usually 1-3 in a good night. We've slowed down a lot since my pops broke his back tho.

Here some pics.

You have some darn fine looking dogs Taz! I dont think a dog could be much better looking than your Bo dog, and Chance and Ringer I like a lot as well. I was reading another older thread where you said you were crossing one of your Fl Curs to a Plott, did that breeding take?  Whens the next time you plan on breeding your Bo dog?

Cajunl. Everyone has a opinion, but what I said is a fact!! Ghostrider was driving a feed truck delivering to a lot of the big ranches. He would be invited to stay at the ranches for a month at a time. They would hunt morning and night. They had no problem catching 20-50 hogs on some days. They were invited on the ranches to kill every hog they could. I have been fortunate to be able to travel the world, so I have seen and experienced more then most in their lives, so I understand its hard to believe somethings when your experiences have come from limited travels!! You should of got a picture of the Yeti!!!  Evil The man with the 14 gyps called me to talk Florida Curs, and he is working with the AKC to start a new registered Florida Cracker Cur. He is breeding for his brood stock, not for sale!! More power to him I told him. You want to destroy a good breed, get them registered with papers. I guess Robert Kemmer was a puppy peddler when he had 100 dogs in his yard to, or any other breeder who has started their own line of dogs.

Taz you and them are legends.

Glad you found some dogs you like and not searching Southern Airboat  to buy dogs anymore. Just a year ago you had no dogs and was calling my buddy twice a day trying to get a cur pup. Looks like you got your "line" back up and going.

I am glad I am not a legend and have not traveled all over the world meeting great hoghunters. Then I would have to buy dog on the internet also. You figure all the legends you know would give you one.  But lucky for me I know a few " of the cowboys and there cronies"

Good luck with your pups.

Happy hunting and tight lines.

Hey Cajunl. If you knew half of what you think you know, you still would not know much, especially when it comes to me!!! I do not travel around the world meeting hog doggers!! I do not think I am a legend in hoghunting, its just a hobby for me like fishing, Maybe thats how you get your self worth, but not me!! I will leave the legend stuff up to you and your buddy "The One and Only"!!! Lol. Now if you have something constructive to add to the post then do it, if not then keep your insecurities to yourself! Now I have got 4 dogs off of Southernairboat, and they all could find and catch their own hogs, so what exactly is wrong with that?? Sold 3 of them that made the buyers happy and still have one, my Gator dog. He is not in the breeding program because he is half WB BMC and Florida Cur. He can do it all by himself! The best thing he was a $100!!!! He makes a great trainer of my pups.Do I have to chew tobacco,  where skinny little wranglers, and live in a trailer in the swamp raising my own dogs to be into hog hunting?? If so I would pass, legs are to big for wranglers, to fit for tobacco,  and like my nice pool home!!!!! LOL You have a good day, and good luck with your blue dogs.

Cajunl. I guess the over over 600 hogs I have caught in 8yrs, (and I do not hunt over run ranches or leases with feeders like you), and the over 400 pics and videos of me and my dogs finding and catching hogs on my photobucket was done by not knowing what I am doing!

This is hog hunting not brain surgery!! Come on now, don't you think if you can find hogs with your dogs, that its not to hard for others??

I call people to talk to them about what they have, just like people call me about my dogs, but that does not mean I am interested in buying a puppy from them. Have not bought a puppy from anyone in a long time.

There are no hard feelings Cow Boy. We have never met, so why would I have hard feelings for what you say??  You see, I am a Man that is very confident in who I am and what I am capable of doing and have done in my life!! Now I gave you my # to call me if you think you have some kind of problem with me!!

Want to say I am sorry for highjacking the original thread, was not my intention.  It seems cajunl lost his security blanky and bingky and is feeling alittle insecure without it, so I am just trying to comfort the little guy!! LOL.......
