Gotta real good pup that took a hit to the back leg, both the foot and leg are totally limp and muscle is showin. What to do?

His foot is totally curled up and he can't straighten it at all.

take him to the vet and have him sow the muscle back together or you will probably have a dog with a bad leg that will not have any control...JMO

I was still in the woods when I posted it. So ya this forum was my first thought. Gotta response from.here long before I could have gotten to the vet. number 2 we just got to the house. And I've learned if its happened to me then its surely happened to someone else and they may just be lookin. But thanks for the advice any ways.

Brent picks him up from New baiden today, had to amputate the leg. Muscle was totally torn, along with all tendons, ligaments and just about anything that held his leg to his body with the exception of the bone. We've heard some good feedback on 3 legged dogs, so when he heals up we gonna put back  in the woods. Hopefully it didn't scare him to much. He's only 8-9 months old, but he was really showin the signs of turnin out. This experience, I can only assume has been pretty traumatic. Worst comes to it, brents got a 3 legged yard dog w/a good story.
