Finally got permission to hunt the ranch that butts up to the back side of our ranch. The ranch had never been dogged before. It also has more water on it than any place around the whole area! We took the land owner and his 11 year old son on the first night, niether had been hunting with dogs before. We toook my strike dog and my buddies strike dog, two of his cds and my two cds. We dropped the dogs and roaded them for a bit, they hunted out never struck tho. Picked them up dropped them again, not long after that both struck there noses and jetted to 300yrds and hammered down. Sent the bulldogs and headed that way had all dogs treed on the garmins but it was dead silent, we know its a big hog and get there as fast as possible. We get there and he is big i leg him and notice blood on the ground so i know a dog is cutt. My buddy gets there and sticks him and we see its his best cd gutted. By the time we get te bulldogs clipped both strike dogs are 760yds hammered down. We haul a** back to the truck and get the dog stampled up. Look at garmin and dogs re still hammered down. Get the remainig cds and go to them ended up being a 160lbs sow. Call it quits for the night. 329lbs 329lbs Sow The next night we went again. Same pack with one extra strike dog and catchdog. Hunted for a while and my friends strike dog opened up once or twice lil over 300yrds. Then my strike dog ended up goin that direction and we waited and waited then mine opens up and just hammers down all three get there and we send the bulldogs and again all tree and not a sound we get there and they have a big hog caught in a deep heavy wooded creek. So we get the hog stuck and not till we pull him out till we realize how big he really was. No dogs got cut somehow, and he broke one of his cutters off it was still bleeding he must have hit it on a log in the water. Two big boars in two nights. Didnt get a weight on this one but he was for sure a beast. http://s1198.photobucket.com/albums/aa455/jrangnow/?action=view¤t=5C3F0875-E836-4949-BE0E-D6200C54FBFB-725-00000074A8345611_zps9f994789.jpg

Wish i knew, i got him long time ago from a pretty shady fellow. Only my best guess to even what his age is! Turned out to be a mighty fine dog. He strikes ever hog for me and only has help if i hunt with someone else. I dont run help dogs or "baydogs". Just bred him last week for the first time, hopefully the pups turn out to.
