Met up with marc at Copper Creek to eat steaks then headed off to a new place to Hunt in noodle Tx.   We pull up out there right at sunset.  Nice perfect evening with a good south breez.. We work our way into the wind for about 5 min  when one of the dogs in the ranger whines a lil we stop drop dogs Zip cash and blackjack . they hit the ground running worked there ass off for about 10 min then bust off 630 to the west.. We wait and listen but the dogs never show treed we fired up the ranger got a little closer we could hear dogs bayed.. knew it must be a good one the way there baying and moving.. Drive into 250 yards  then hiked into 50 cut bulldogs bo and flip to seal the deal... We get up there and the fight is on!!! Get him flipped and stuck.. Real good Hunt!!

I had a quail lease there from 1976-1992. Mine was up 1812 toward McCaully. There were no deer there then. When they came in I lost my quail lease. Later on the hogs moved in.

The guy I leased from always wanted to run goats but the coyotes put a stop to that. He just thought the coyotes were problems. Hogs eat alot more than coyotes.

That is a good hog. I guess there are alot of them  out there now. You hunting any of the shinnery country?

It's always good to hunt with my good bud Casey. We've grown up together and seen a lot of sh$t together. I love all the stories and memories we talk about from back in the day every time we go. Our dogs are a jam up team also. Glad you held on to that beast. He was whipping that a$$ on them bulldogs. Ol flip is feelin it today. $860 vet bill later but he's gonna be all good. I'm gonna need another bulldog until he heals up if anybody knows where a good one is? PM me
