As long as the owner wants it on there, and the sayin untill he gets used to it doesnt mean in one damn sitting. Could take a week coukd take a month but like you said im sure he will figure it out. And whats to say anything is even being done in the heatsounds like ur jumpin to conclusions little quick.

Dude..re-read your own post from a different perspective.  Sound like you see things one way, you way.

Well look what the three studges had to say....you are more about putting someone else down than offering an opinion.  You three guys must be thinking how funny you are...I mean you are the majority so you must be right.  The majority was right when electoral votes elected Obama...majority isn't always right.  The only thing I think is funny is that my wife is right.  Go ahead and put a vest on a dog and leave him on the chain.  I'm done with this thread.

Drenalin...good luck in finding a solution or answer to your question.  This thread has gone the wrong way and I apologize to you for our thread being high jacked.  I was only interested in trying to help you out.

My advice that not only me but others agree with is too put that dog in the vest and let it get used too it. Don't leave the dog in the kennel or on the chain now because of the temperature like I stated previously because it's too hot. But when it cools down then it's fine. But if you ever let the dog run around put him in it and get comfortable with it. Plays with toys and all that.

And too the little hoghunter man with 10+ years experience. You are right with your own opinion but the problem started when you stated that our suggestion was wrong. The man asked for personal experiences and opinions. Not too bash other people's opinions and experiences. So great thanks for leaving the post have a nice day!

PS- the 3 stooges made lots of money In there day so that's fine with me because I'm a hardworking Man and love money  Grin

I take my dogs to have a vest fitted just for them and I leave it on them while there on the chain

I read this post to my wife (she knows about dogs because we had them for 10 plus years) but she doesn't hunt with me.  Even she knows not to leave a vest on a dog.  She mentioned how hot it is and that leaving a dog in a vest for a prolonged period of time in this heat could be dangerous.  She is right.

Glad your wife is right. No one said put a vest on a dog in a 100 degree weather in the middle of the summer for an extent amount of time. It was a Simple suggestion! As far as kennel he would have to assess how his dogs act to see if they climbin out!!  To his his own!!

OMG! if someone doesn't have common sense to know the limitations - well - jeez.................
