these 2 gyps will not stop holding a grudge. Every since Bella has matured, she's no punk by any means. Sally is a 9 yr old very tough black/tan cur RCD and is built solid. Bella is a 2 yr old loose strike YBMC. I know Sally is the dominant one, I've had her for 8 yrs and Bella for 1 1/2. I'm guessing they just need to be kept separated in the yard. On hunts they do fine. In the yard, neither will drop themselves and get along. They will fight if I'm there or not. They are both very sweet dogs, but ain't gettin along for some reason. Yeah only thing you could do is separate them then or you can do what I do put the 2 trouble makers together face too face and if they even growl or look the wrong way give em the boot and they'll learn who's boss.

I would do what LT says but I would have a shock collar on both. If they even look sideways at one another give them a shock & never, never leave those two out together by there selves.

lol welcome to the dominant bitch dog world ! I had a pair of cat gyps like that but they were evenly matched in age . they were both darn good at their jobs or I would have gotten rid of one of them . I did everything short of killing them both . that blood fued lasted over 10 years , and i'm talking a till death do we part kinda fued .they never had a problem with any other gyp o the yard and never a problem with each other in the woods or truck . I finally gave a friend of mine the brindle bitch to train some young dogs for him . and the other gyp died here on my yard at 13 years old . both are deceased now and most likely trying to kill each other in dog heaven lol . and I do miss them both , even with all the drama they caused .

agree with lt and Cajun. I know a guy who put 2 fighting gyps in a dog box together with a shock collar on each of them and 2 separate controllers and a cattle prod. when they went to fighting, he would light them up with both the collars and the cattle prod till they calmed down and after a couple box secssions, he had a good handle on them and nary one wanted to even growl at any other dog no matter what

She's definitely mine for life! She's actually my 1st strike dog, so the bar she sets will only rise, so far, she's not sticking to the runners. She looses em at around 1 to 1 1/2 miles. I'm not sure why, maybe age/experience. She sticks with em when she's got a seasoned strike dog leading. So far she just don't understand the "pressure" that I put on her shoulders....lol Definitely the hunt that's in her she was born with. |

I will spend some TLC sessions with em and hope they get the point. I'm pretty confident the advice is good and I appreciate the feedback.......
There are 2 bulldog gyps in heat as we speak. Maybe the hormones in the air play a factor???
