Hey I have a problem. Does anyone know if there is any way to track or find a stolen Garmin system? I have the serial number ad it is registered in my name but I couldn't find anything on the website about tracking the system to find who stole it. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I think a similar instance happened 6-8 months ago and there from what I can remember, there aint any way to track it, not even garmin can do anything about it. the collars, only if you are in range and you have the collar id number, but as far as the hand held, it can only receive signal, it cant send a signal. I hope you find it, these systems cost to much and are a valuable tool for hunters. file a theft report with the local sheriff dept and pd if you live town and see if you can take the report and file it with the local warden office and see if they can help you out. again, I hope you can get it back. good luck

Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!

^ what he said.
I lost mine at two days old and called garmin that day. They made it sound like it was "possible" but illegal. Their software wouldn't allow it or something like that

Well I really do appreciate the advice. Hopefully I hear something pretty soon about it or if anyone hears something they'll let me know

how did it get stolen if you don't mind me askin?
Someone broke into my shed and got quite a bit of stuff but this is really the thing I'm most worried about because of the cost. I'm happy they left my saddles though because they mean more to me

Be a long shot & I dont know if Garmin keeps track of serial numbers but I would report it & maybe if it was sent in, they could let u know. Probably whoever stole it would be selling it.

I had about 2000 dollars worth of stuff stollen from my trailer in the front yard . You need to have a police report done for shure. If you have home owners insurance claim it. Never found my stuff but every once in a while I ride around with my friends garmin handheld at certain houses to c if I mite pick up a collar they left on good luck hope you find your stuff.
