 Left the house Saturday mornin and caught this lil fella crossin the road. I'm 6'2 and his tail was still touchin the ground.

Yes the eat rattlesnakes but a guy told me he put a 5 ft rattler in a cage with a 4ft blue indigo and the rattler ate him but I did not c it with my own eyes biggest snake wins

Um I am not trying to be nosey but a Blue Indigo is protected in Texas and illegal to kill. I would remove that post. All of is Texas boys know how TPWD can be.

We used to run across them often when I was guiding quail hunts on the King Ranch. It was a big time No No to kill one. I was told they would kick you off of the ranch for killing one.

We caught one here in Tuleta that measured 6' 3inch. But yall are right they are protected.

if they r that protected, then the tpwd better come get it if I find 1 on my property. I would chat myself first n if it was still after getting off the phone with the wardens and changed my pants n the wardens were no were to be found, the snale wouldn't b found either.

They are harmless to people and dogs, and will flee if stumbled upon. It's also true that they do eat rattlesnakes. I can understand folks killing rattlers, and other venomous, but not non-venomous. Snakes do play a major role our ecological system.

No he's definitely not dead he's somewhere around the house or the fence lines around it keepin the rattlesnakes at bay. Here's a couple more pictures of him movin and then him stranglin my arm.
