Monday evening on my way home from work I unfortunentaly was involved in a severe car accident, i consider myself lucky to be alive. A car pulled out in front of me while i wad headed west on hwy 90 just west of beaumont, i t-boned the car at 60-65mph resulting in severely bruised knee's and ribs, multiple small burns/scrapes and cuts and worst of all i fractured my pelvis in 2 places. I will be out at least 8 werks, possibly more depending on if i will require surgery.

I feel that it would be rather selfish of me to ask danielle, my other 1/2, to care for my dogs on top of me and my daughter and so, sadly after making a phone call yesterday evening it looks as though I am going to be out of this great sport for a while. I am getting rid of everything except my 2 best and 1 puppy off of my best, am i upset? absolutely but I feel like at this current time given the circumstances its the right thing for me to do. If ya'll have the time send one up for my family, this is going to be a difficult couple months for danielle so please keep us (esp. Her) in your prayers.

Lastly, treat every day life it is your last, hug your loved ones and never forget to tell them you love them, life changes in the blink of an eye.

Justin...I only know you from your writings...but all of your posts I have read over the years say a lot about you...that you are a good man...I will be sending prayers up for you and your family...you will recover and you will be a better man because of this experience...

That is rough. I will add your family to my prayers. I'm sorry you are having to give up something you love due to such a terrible accident. My brother hit a tree and broke his pelvis in two places. I guess they can't break just once. It took a some time but he is back 100%. Hopefully you won't require surgery and it can heal quicker.
