I like my 22-250 but I shoot everything in the neck so no chasing for me. If I wasnt shooting at neck I'd use 30/30.

I like the 22-250 the best...my wife and kids and 2 of my grandsons have killed many a deer with it...most drop in their tracks and only one ran off with bad placement of bullet that I can remember...

I still say go with the 7 mag....it is flat shooting and retains more energy at longer distances...
