Travis and I met Lou, Clint and Damian out in beautiful Fort Bend County at dark yesterday. We had already been going all day, catching 4 at a new place I picked up in Cypress.

Head out to Damian's ranch, drop a few dogs and it wasn't long we were in hogs. Stayed in them the next few hours and ended up catching 6... 3 of them in a big, alligator infested lake! Damian had a blast and got to send his German Shepard in to to several bays.

Lou, thanks for having us out, I sure love getting out of the pines to hunt that country down there... look forward to the next one.

That was a good time. We averaged one hog every 45 min. Had two bays going on more than once. Dogs did good and none got cut down. It got my boy Clint fired up. Damian is already planning one on few other properties this month....A verry big thanks to my friends. Mike, Travis, Clint, John....

He did good, ran straight in and caught. We only turned him loose to bays, didn't run him in the ground. I wouldn't trust him as a solo catch dog on a bad hog, but he did fine on these.

Guys I had a blast I have not gotten to go in a long time and was close to hanging hog hunting up for a while but after a night like that it has sparked up that fire again and have all of the dogs preform like they did it was just one of those nights that could not have gotten any better! Dusty my yella dog has not been out of the yard in a long time and to drop him and for him to roll out almost a mile and put a hog at the end of it solo reminded me of how much fun it was and the land was open where you could see the bays even at night and we where not only covered up with pigs but there were yotes everywhere I had one hell of a night and can't wait For the next go around thanks guys

It was pretty funny watching Lou fall on his a$$ in the lake getting his dogo off the hog... ha ha ha!

Sorry Lou, I know it sucked being wet all night.

...it should be said that the shepherd was on his verry first hunt, at night with only one other time in a pin.

Thats good fun right there. Nice to see the excitement, hunts like that stay in the memory bank forever. I've raised German Sheapards for years but never put them on hogs, but that Sheapard is really a beautiful one.
