Thanks guys for the info. Those of u that do run a vest can u see a noticeable difference in the performance of ur dog.  as far as him being nimble on his feet and movement of him. I have watched shank my catch dog clear woven wire fences or brush that are chest high no problem. then the vests that I have tried on him he seems like he can barely jump on the tailgate.
