I helped work some bird dogs last Saturday and took some pictures.

Took some video too

^ this is a lot of driving but I was trying to show from the moment those dogs hit the ground to a bird in hand.

^ this one I slowed down for the shot ... I'm not a computer person so this was a HUGE step for me

Hope it works for y'all

Thanks

Is the red dog a Vizsla?  If so how did he compare to the GSP's?

Good looking full liver GSP.

Adam G,
Yes, those are Vizslas .. I belive she said they are just under a year old. There was two of them out there one was a Wire haired Vizsla and the other just a Vizsla both found birds and would go on point for a minute then bust the birds and chase them down through the pasture.Im not sure where she got them but they seemed to be doing a lot of stuff naturally and will probably make good dogs. As far as comparing them to the Gsps I couldnt tell you because the Gsp dogs that ran that day are all older trained feild trial dogs and those Vizslas are just getting started.

That Liver Gsp dog is mine and its terrible .. it's excellent at embarassing me.

Chris, that was a good video of the shot.

Thanks ! I usally only hit them when i forget the camera or when the batery on the camera dies, haha

Trophies they've won

Hunting rig haha

Bout to turn the dogs loose .. Country there is real nice I liked it a lot
