I stole the idea from Dan Almenderez way back in the 80's but Roger LeBlanc made em that way till he died and I believe his son still makes em. They weren't stainless tho. If you ever go to Hammonds you will see some of my earlier swivels tho. They do wear out but last. The bolts I was using for awhile were grade 8 and I put a hardened washer in between and those really help.

I used Rogers design and made a bunch outa stainless when I worked in a fab shop.

I have some heavy duty swivels for sale  $10 +shipping   sound welds and built to outlast generations of bulldogs lr any other dogs. I have 2 different designs to choose from
