On paper it's the best breeding I've ever made. The Parker came from Will Roberts.  The Outlaw/Campbell came from a friend. Hoping for dogs with miles of bottom and enough grit to try and stop running hogs. My huntin buddy and I are planning to split the litter.

I talked to quite a few guys about the outlaw and Campbell dogs.  And from talking to the few guys who knew the breed, a good dog outta that line hunts as deep and as hard as alot of parker dogs, they're just rougher.

I'm pretty sure you are gonna have some real good dogs on the ground that start quick, the key is keeping em alive.  I doubt you are gonna be able to run more then two dogs on the ground without em catching out.  Upside is if you hear em all baying, you know you got a stud bayed!

I don't expect every pup to turn into a super star. Hoping for a better than average litter. Plan to breed the Parker to another dog next year that came off of 2 excellent trailing dogs. Cross these 2 breeding years from now.

Sounds like you gotta good plan going...a super dog is nice but consistency in a litter to me is alot better.  How does the parents hunt...nose, range, grit?

Parker bays. Campbell/outlaw likes to catch. Decent nose. Hunt closer till they get in sign.

I don't remember. Need to ask again and write it down. From what I gather, the Parker's are like Campbell's in that their so tightly bred that their all basically the same.
