What's the most pups you've seen a bitch successfully raise? I've got a litter of 14 that are 5 days old now and I'm gonna start helping feed them a few times a day with milk replacer. Clues cowboy x bigo's Sara and clues cowboy x roxy pups.  Sent from my SCH-S738C using Tapatalk |

Heck I dunno. I just had 11 and 6 have died. So now I'm down to 5. Litter before this had a gyp with 10 and they are all rolling fat and happy.

Way back when I had a Catahoula gyp "Josie" throw 13, she raised 12. I supplemented but not till 2 weeks.

I had an accidental litter a few years ago of ABXDogo's...she had 12 and raised all of them just fine without any help from me. It was spring time, and conditions were favorable.

I have a red nose pit, she is 11 now but I bred her four times. Twice to the same male and then twice to 2 different males. She had litters of 12,11,12, and 13 she is only 45 lbs and never bred her to real big dogs. We never helped her once and never lost a pup.

My plott throws 9-14 a litter, one of her daughters threw 17 and the poor soul who bred her kept them all alive.

Had a pit gyp have 13 bubone was still born. She raised all the rest got tired of them around 4 weeks so they started eating wet puppy food. All of em lived

John, the female is Lisa, the young gyp I had when you hunted with me. The sire came from Clue and was Cowboys first litter. The Roxy gyp was by the Taylor dog Clue had and out of a daughter of the Stubby gyp of Ben Jordans. Except for the Taylor outcross, they are heavy linebred to the Big Boy/Blondie cross of Ricky Driver.
