RCD and cd for back up. I recently got the CD. I haven't really needed it to this point but I would rather have one and not need it than need one and not have it. If my RCD gets hurt and can't hunt I'm out. Like this I have a backup plan.

Never used RCD's/Rough Catchy dogs. Always lead ins.

Just different strokes for different folks.

I use some Dane crosses as RCD/help dogs and sometimes they find hogs.

Depends on your terrain and the other dogs you hunt. I only use lead in catch dogs cus I don't want to hav a hog caught 900yds away from me.

Both of mine can do either. 1 of them will strike if she's rcd. Just depends on terrain and who I'm Huntin with.

Some of my plotts would be classified as running catchdogs because they are going to catch as soon as they get up on a hog.
